We all know that the arts are a crucial factor in a child’s development and that there are nothing but benefits to be gained from participation. This infographic explores just how big of an impact arts programs have on students who are involved.
Based on this completed infographic, I also created a tactile representation that breaks each fact out separately and displays them all as flashcards—much like a student might use to help them remember important information they learn in school.
The final version of visualizing this information was created as a kinetic typography animation. People learn in all types of ways, so my goal was to teach the importance of the arts in education by relaying it in three different formats.
